Google’s partnership with Prince Harry’s Travalyst – a sustainable travel initiative – is “off to a flying start” according to royal expert Omid Scobie, after the company announced they will now report carbon emissions estimates for all flights alongside a series of fuel-efficient routing options being added to Google Maps. Harry’s scheme Travalyst aims to provide the globe with eco-friendly travel options and assist the global population with making more informed choices in regards to air and land travel.
Harry, alongside wife Meghan Markle have been praised for their latest charity scheme, with many sharing messages such as “Well done Prince Harry!” from @soonerlakerfan, “Harry getting bigger” from @yayamathilde, while @Barbara27541025 wrote “Brilliant! Working with the Big Giants like Google! Congratulations Hazza! #Travalyst”.
Other fans, though, have taken a swipe at members of the Royal Family in the wake of the latest developments, including one fan @DBrown99944 who wrote: “H&M’s success surpasses anything we could have imagined for them. Cackling so hard at the thought of that 12-month review.”

One fan requested Charles and William share their emissions in the wake of this development
Another user @SloanSteed brought the future of the monarchy into the equation, by requesting the royals share their emission totals: “The moment Prince Charles and Prince William provide theirs, we’ll be requesting Prince Harry’s. You know, because the eco-warrior heirs who fly at the taxpayers’ expense would want to LEAD BY EXAMPLE.”
Others made swipes at Prince William, and wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge for travelling in private jets or via private helicopter flights despite launching the Earthshot Prize which awards funding to those aiming to find solutions to “save the Earth”.
While @ConquersallLove even suggested that Harry and Meghan should be recognised with the prize for their role in the sustainable development in the travel industry, writing: “Prince William should just give the eco contest prize to his little brother. Go #harryandmeghan.”
