Mr Murray, however, didn’t share Ms Kennedy’s view on the Sussexes and claimed the Duke and Duchess were receiving an award “for doing absolutely nothing” and “have not changed a single thing about the Royal Family”. He added: “These two spoiled brats get another thing for their mantelpiece to say how good they are for doing nothing and making millions doing it.” The Ripple of Hope Award gala will take place in New York City on December 6. While Meghan and Harry haven’t officially announced their attendance, they are expected to receive their gong in person.

Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah included ‘over 30 lies’, Duke’s biographer claims

During the interview, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made multiple potshots towards the Royal Family.

Speaking on Sky News Australia, royal expert Angela Levin pointed out, almost two years on, how many lies the couple made during the televised interview.

Ms Levin claimed there were “over 30 lies in that interview” the couple agreed to mark one year since their departure from the Royal Family’s working rooster.

She added: “Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that there were long several conversations when Harry came later because Meghan occupied it, of course, with 45 minutes and Harry came on the last bit.”

The Crown fails to crack list of top 50 most-watched TV shows in UK in first week

The Crown has failed to make the list of the top 50 most-watched TV shows in the UK in its first week of release, in spite of weeks of hype leading up to its November 9 launch.

The fifth series of the Netflix drama was not among the most popular programmes in the country in the week November 7-13, with the show being available to stream for five out of those days, analysed by official TV audience measurement body Barb.

Classic soap operas such as Emmerdale and Eastenders, as well as popular reality shows Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! were all watched more than The Crown in that week.

The BBC director general also slammed the streaming giant, saying many of the broadcaster’s dramas were “much bigger” than those produced by Netflix, reported the Daily Mail.

Custodian of Romanian Crown Margareta meets Pope Francis during Vatican City visit

Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania, met with Pope Francis during a recent visit to the Vatican City.

The daughter of the last King of Romania, Michael I, was accompanied by her husband Prince Radu.

The couple were greeted by representatives of the Prefecture of the Pontifical Household as they entered the Apostolic Palace.

Margareta and Radu were then received by Pope Francis in the private library.

The Custodian of the Crown handed the Argentine-born head of the Catholic Church a collection of 96 engravings in a tribute to her late father’s 96-year life.

Princess Diana would have been ‘true family ally’ to Prince Harry amid royal struggles

The former bodyguard of Princess Diana has said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to move stateside in 2020 would have been a point of issue with Harry’s late mother, who would have urged the couple to reconsider.

Harry’s book claims that it will take “readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow – and horror”.

The description continues: “With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”

The release of the book and Harry’s previous comments about his experiences of growing up in the royal household, notably on Oprah Winfrey, the decision by the Sussex’s to step back and move to the United States was not surprising.

Meghan and Harry’s relationship with Charles could ‘get worse’ as souring predicted

King Charles III feels abandoned and “betrayed” by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex having “received criticism” since their exit, according to his biographer.

The monarch’s relationship with his younger son and his wife has been the subject of mass speculation since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s dramatic exit from the Royal Family almost three years ago. King Charles III is understood to want to mend his relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but according to his biographer, the former Prince of Wales feels a “strong sense of betrayal” following the couple’s attacks on the Firm.

Christopher Anderson, author of the upcoming book ‘The King: The Life of Charles III’, was a guest on Podcast Royal earlier this month. He told hosts Jessica Robinson and Rachel Burchfield that the King’s relationship with the Sussexes is at an “all-time low”.
