The safety of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s family has come under scrutiny after it was revealed that the Royal family were tormented by 170 stalkers in 2021 – 10 of which were considered at the “highest danger level” by the police. Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK!: “Kate’s children’s protection is a constant worry for her but she just has to have faith that they have these expert police officers. Over the years they have altered and upped the security. After the 7/7 bombings in London, the number of protection officers looking after William almost doubled so they do monitor the threat constantly.” He continued: “This will do Harry no end of good to be able to demonstrate the need for security. These numbers will be based on police intelligence, they’re not just plucked out of the sky. They do re-enforce the fact that Harry is a target whether he’s part of the Royal family or not and so are his children.”

The Duke of Cambridge was left amused after receiving a present for his children during an engagement on his second day in Scotland.

Prince William, president of the Football Association and a keen fan of the sport, visited the Heart of Midlothian Football Club in Edinburgh.

During a meeting with the team’s Chief Executive Andrew McKinlay and Chair Ann Budge, he was presented with three Heart of Midlothian football shirts, each presenting the name of his children.

Holding up a tiny shirt bearing Princess Charlotte’s name, the Duke was photographed laughing.

The seven-year-old child has been spotted playing football in the past alongside her elder brother Prince George.

Meghan’s pal Scobie’s ‘Queen deserves better’ rant over Jubilee balcony row

Meghan Markle’s biographer Omid Scobie has waded into the Platinum Jubilee balcony row in an 800-word rant.

Mr Scobie’s op-ed entitled “The Queen deserves better for her Jubilee than obsessing over family drama” was published online on Tuesday.

It comes ahead of the Monarch’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June during which working members of the Royal Family are expected to join the Queen and younger royals on a balcony at Buckingham Palace for Trooping the Colour.

While absent for Trooping the Colour, non-working Royal Family members such as Harry, Meghan, and Prince Andrew, will be invited to events including a service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.

In the article, Mr Scobie describes the decision about who or who will not appear on the balcony as “fuss”, adding that the news to only invite working royals should not have come as a surprise to some.
