Prince Louis and Prince George are sitting on her sides, while Princess Charlotte is perched slightly further away.

The snap was accompanied by a red heart emoji and a message, which read: “Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours”.

A second picture by the same photographer was added in response to the first tweet, and shows Kate with a loving smile on her face while playing with her younger son in her arms.

Meghan and Harry warned new attacks on Firm risk Sussexes looking like reality TV stars

Meghan and Prince Harry have been advised against carrying on with their criticism of the Royal Family. Reputation management expert Edward Coram-James argued the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have to lose both on a professional and personal level if they carry on speaking about their UK-based relatives as they have done in past months.

These pictures perfectly represent Kate’s hands-on approach with her children as well as her conviction that spending time outdoors boosts the mental and physical wellbeing of both children and adults.

Royal fans hugely appreciated Kate and William’s decision to share these snaps with the public.

Twitter user @RNHCJ522 commented on the snaps saying: “I couldn’t love Catherine more. Such beauty, grace and the epitome of class! What a future queen she is.”

Another, @sarah_delore, tweeted: “Thank you for these beautiful photos, I was hoping to see something like this for Mothers Day!!”

The Wales family’s tweet comes a few hours after the Royal Family Twitter account, which represents all the other senior royals including King Charles and Queen Camilla, marked the first Mother’s Day since the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The poignant message shared overnight celebrated the mothers of both King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The tweet read: “To all mothers everywhere, and to those who may be missing their mums today, we are thinking of you and wishing you a special #MothersDay.”

The message was accompanied by a picture of a young Princess Elizabeth holding on her legs King Charles as a child.

A separate photo showed Camilla smiling while standing behind her mum, Rosalind Shand.

While Her Late Majesty died on September 8 2022, Mrs Shand passed in 1994, after having suffered from osteoporosis for years.
