Kate Middleton ‘rose above’ Prince Harry’s ‘rudeness’ with ‘enormous dignity’

KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been praised by a royal commentator for rising above the “rude” comments made about her by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Ms Levin said: “Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge directly walked up to Prince Harry and asked him whatever it was.

“She was chatty, she was lively, she did not look resentful.

“My goodness, they have been so rude about her but she rose above it with enormous dignity.

“Her body language was friendly, natural, relaxed.

“Then Prince William, her husband, joined them and she quite remarkably stepped down onto the curb leaving the two brothers on the pavement.

“She gradually stepped back and talked to Sophie, Countess of Wessex.”

The royal commentator added: “It was very subtle and she kept looking to see if they were ok.

“The hardest thing is to break the ice, this broke the ice and enabled them to talk on a very moving and sunny day.”

Prince William and Prince Harry were seen talking following Prince Philip’s funeral at St George’s Chapel.

During the same interview, the royal commentator hailed Prince Philip’s funeral as an overwhelmingly extraordinary event.

Ms Levin said: “I thought it was an overwhelmingly extraordinary event.

“I think it was hard not to be deeply moved and equally proud of Britain.”

Prince Philip died on April 9, 2021, at the age of 99.

The Duke of Edinburgh would have turned 100 in June 2021.

The Queen and Prince Philip got married in November 1947, five years before she became Monarch.

This week the Queen will turn 95 as the Monarch has her first birthday since Prince Philip’s death.
