Kate Middleton reveals during visit to Luxembourg that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are learning to ride bikes

KATE Middleton has revealed that her children are learning to ride bikes.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 35, gave the cute update about Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 2, during a visit to Luxembourg.
Prince William’s wife was a guest of honour at a cycling-themed festival in the capital’s city centre where she met numerous cyclists.
One of the people she spoke to while there was professional cyclist Frank Schleck, who has two daughters.
Opening up about their exchange, he told local media: “We talked about how they [children] really appreciate riding a bike.

“For kids, it’s great because they can exercise and – as long as it’s safe – go to school without their parents.”
He continued; ”She said their kids have bikes and that they’re always excited about trying to ride.”

The one-day visit also saw Kate presented with a customised cycling jersey by six-year-old twins Liam and Mike, the sons of former Tour de France star, Kim Kirchen.
“[The Duchess] said she has no excuse now not to get on a bike,” said Kim.

The jam-packed 24 hours additionally saw her watch a team of Luxembourg road cyclists perform on stationery spinning bikes.
Plus, unveil three murals honouring cycling by artists Chiara Dahlem, James Straffon and Joël Rollinger.

The Duchess then went on to meet a group of local schoolchildren, some of whom have special educational needs.
Finally, she met with the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg at the palace where they all posed for a group photograph.

The aim of the trip was to improve the UK and Luxembourg’s already strong relationship and was taken at the request of Her Majesty’s government.
This month is a a busy one for Kate and her family.
At the beginning of it they celebrated Princess Charlotte’s second birthday.
On May 20, Kate sister’s Pippa Middleton will marry banking tycoon James Matthews – the brother of former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.

They will tie the knot at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, with around 150 guests expected to attend.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will act as page boy and flower girl.
