Kate Middleton and Prince William’s holiday destinations revealed: From their honeymoon
Escape in The Seychelles to skiing trips in France, this is where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge really unwind
PRINCE William and Kate Middleton have their favourite holiday hot spots across the globe.
Despite living in quite literally a palace, even the likes of Prince William and Kate Middleton need a getaway every now and again.
Being the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it’s hard for the Kensington Palace residents not to get recognised, and to actually be able to take some time out from royal engagements to relax.
So where do the royals really go to escape normal life? And which hotels do they decide to stay in?
Here’s what we know about Kate and Will’s favourite holiday hot spots…
The French Alps
The doting parents are keen skiers, as are their families.
Kate previously attended her sister Pippa’s hen do at a ski resort in Meribel, France, while William began skiing at a young age, as his late mother used to take him and his brother Prince Harry on snowy getaways.
But where do Kate and Wills head together? In March 2016, the couple took George and Charlotte to the French Alps, sleeping in the luxury Courchevel ski resort.
And of course that’s not the only destination they’ve visited in the France.
They’ve stayed in the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz (the 1855 building oozes charm of the Second Empire) with their little ones, and there’s not much to dislike about the seaside town on southwestern coast of France.
Mustique, British Virgin Islands
Yes, they’ve escaped to a private island location in the stream of locations between St Vincent and the Grenadine.
