Prince William will leave his wife at home when he attends a royal engagement next week.

Kensington Palace announced on Twitter: “The Duke of Cambridge, representing HM The Queen, will attend the New Zealand Commemoration for the Battle of Passchendaele on 12th October.”

This is because the Duchess is still suffering with severe morning sickness

The Duchess of Cambridge has been trying a variety of remedies to beat her morning sickness.

The Duke met Iris Orrell, 98, when he attended a presentation ceremony and reception celebrating the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund, which he supports as patron. She told him she had suffered with severe morning sickness herself.

Experts warn the effect of hyperemesis gravidarum increases with each child carried by the mother and William asked Mrs Orrell “did it get worse with each pregnancy,” and was told it did.

A Labour MP slammed Kate for wearing £170 dresses during an appearance on Sky News last week.

Emma Dent Coad, Member of Parliament for Kensington in London, Kate Middleton’s own constituency, criticised Kate during a wider interview.

According to Sky News, the MP said: “That’s a food bill for a family of four. That’s absolutely outrageous.”

When is Kate Middleton’s baby due? If Kate is 12 weeks pregnant, then it is likely that the baby will be born in March 2018. This is because pregnancy lasts 40 weeks, just over nine months.

But the Duchess of Cambridge rushed to announce her pregnancy early when she was expecting Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

If Kate is seven weeks pregnant, Britain can expect the royal baby in April 2018. If she is only five weeks pregnant, the nation may have to wait until May 2018.
