Kate ‘has her priorities straight!’ Princess of Wales doubles-back to greet little fan

The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Northern Ireland on Thursday after telling staff they wanted to expand their work raising awareness for suicide prevention, particularly among the young.

She quickly doubles back to applause from the crowd as she goes to say hello to the mother and child.

The woman is believed to be an avid royalist who runs her own Instagram account honouring the Royal Family.

The Princess of Wales stroked the baby’s shoulder, playing with their soft toy before accepting flowers from the mother.

Britons were delighted by the video, which they believed showed the Princess in her true colours as a mother.

The person who shared the video on Twitter wrote: “The Princess of Wales has her priorities straight.

“They were just about to leave but she saw a baby and obviously had to go over to say hello.

Another wrote: “I love the way she interacted with the baby and Mom while taking the flowers. She just is so in tune with the crowd.”

One woman wrote simply: “The Princess of Wales is such a wonderful woman.”
