Prince Charles and Camilla in stitches on Canada tour as Inuits perform throat singing
THIS is the moment Prince Charles and Camilla burst into laughter while watching a traditional performance during their recent tour of Canada.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were seen giggling uncontrollably during a special performance of traditional Inuit throat singing.
The senior members of the Royal Family were visiting Canada’s Arctic capital of Iqaluit but lost their composure during the official welcome.
In the embarrassing clip the future king is seen struggling to contain his laughter as his wife sniggers.
Prince Charles and Camilla are seen catching each other’s eyes and dissolving into a fit of giggles.
The Duchess of Cornwall, unable to behave herself, even has to cover her mouth in a futile attempt to stifle her laughter.
Inuit throat singing is traditionally performed by two women in a competitive duet as the pair see who can last the longest.
Traditionally the women face each other and take turns making sounds by singing and breathing.

But Prince Charles and Camilla’s reactions have sparked outrage with royal watchers branding their behaviour “shameful”.
Social media users said: “Royal Family laughing at throat singers. Princess Diana would never have done that. She had class. Shame on Camilla and Charles.”
Another said: “I watched the video. Camilla burst out laughing, Charles was trying hard not to, shameful.”
One Twitter account said: “Bad form from Charles and Camilla. Hurtful and unexpectedly immature.”
The pair arrived in Canada last Thursday in a visit to coincide with Canada’s 150th birthday.
Prince Charles spoke during the open-air reception in Iqaluit and the royal couple met a jewellery maker who had created a pair of silver snow goggles they both tried on, and Charles said about his wife: “They match your sparkling personality.”
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau kicked off the celebrations in Ottawa as the royals joined him to shake hands with some of the thousands of Canadians who turned out for the festivities.
Prince Charles shared a stage with Mr Trudeau and told the Commonwealth nation they have positive attributes, from championing human rights to being responsible stewards of the environment.
Some 25,000 people assembled at a large outdoor celebration in front of the national Parliament in Ottawa, where Bono and The Edge from U2 performed.
Before the end of their tour Charles and Camilla planted a sugar maple tree in the grounds of Ottawa’s Rideau Hall and wished it “good luck”, touching it in turn.
The two then observed a ceremony to mark the inauguration of the new Queen’s Entrance at the hall, the official residence of the governor general, the Queen’s official representative in Canada.
Later the royal couple went inside the historic building for a reception whose guests included included Supreme Court justice Beverly McLaughlin and former interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose.
The tour make the 18th visit for Prince Charles and the fourth visit for the Duchess of Cornwall.
Last year Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and their two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte visited Canada for a royal tour.
