How Kate Middleton played a HUGE role in Prince Harry proposing to Meghan Markle
KATE Middleton has a “very strong influence” on Prince Harry and she will have played an enormous role in his decision to propose to Meghan Markle, an expert has claimed.
Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a ceremony that combined British pageantry with modern style.
The other special lady in Harry’s life is his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
According to Vanity Fair’s Royal Correspondent, Katie Nicholl: “Harry and Kate are very close, she’s been like a mentor to him and he wanted her seal of approval.”
Amazon Prime documentary “William and Harry: Brothers in Arms” gives an insight into what Prince Harry thought of his sister-in-law Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
In the show, journalist Ashley Pearson reveals: “Harry and Kate have a very warm, affectionate relationship.”
“Kate gives him a feminine perspective and a feminine touch.”
It has been widely reported that Kate has been involved in helping the Duke of Sussex and advising him about some of his choices.
Ashley explains: “I think whoever Harry ends up with needs to get along with Kate.
Kate has a very strong presence in Harry’s life and has strong opinions.
“So I think Harry very much wants the kind of girl that Kate would like and I think her opinion’s very important to him.
“I think he seeks her advice about girls, and ultimately he wants to bring home someone that’s as widely respected and loved the way his sister-in-law is.”
Kate is different to Meghan in many ways, but she has made great strides to help Meghan settle in within the Royal Family.
This included guiding Meghan through official outings, like their first solo date at Wimbledon.
