KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan Markle projected a strong image together at Christmas, say royal commentators.
Kate and Meghan have been the subject of many rumours about a royal rift, as Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex prepare to separate their royal household from that of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They are set to take up residence at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, while Prince William and Kate will remain at Kensington Palace with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. However any tensions between the two duchesses are said to have been set aside for a wonderful royal Christmas at Sandringham.
Speaking on their ‘Royally Obsessed’ podcast, writers Kaitlin Menza and Lisa Ryan discussed the royal Christmas pictures from the festivities.
They claimed the duchesses projected a strong image of family in the photographs taken on the way to church for the traditional Christmas Day service.

They say: “It was no accident that they positioned the two women in the middle together, Kate and Meghan were side by side.”
They described how the images showed: “Everything’s great, they’re just two sisters-in-law, having a great time”.
The hosts added how the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex were “looking like they actually like each other”.
They were pleased, too, that “the guys looked happy,” as Princes William and Harry accompanied their wives.

Kate and Meghan also won admiration for “dressing beautifully and looking great” in the Christmas snaps.
“Meghan’s outfit was one I’d try to recreate in my own life,” said host Lisa Ryan.
The Duchess of Sussex dressed in “head to toe navy, head to toe Victoria Beckham” for the church service.
The presenters said Meghan’s outfit was “so chic” and “Kate looked lovely,” however their award for best dressed went to the hardest-working royal of 2018.

Princess Anne won the plaudit for her turquoise blue ensemble.
The two royal commentators also expressed disappointment at not being able to see Prince William and Kate’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, at the Christmas Day service, as the Cambridge children are still too young to take on the official royal duty.
