Has Meghan Markle been warned not to marry Prince Harry? That’s the claim from one certain webloid. Gossip Cop can reveal the truth.

The allegation comes from the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, which claims the “Suits” actress has been “warned” against marrying into the royal family. Without any reputable sources or evidence, the site ridiculously asserts, “Meghan might lose her free spirit the moment she becomes a royal,” adding that Markle will also be “forced to give up her Hollywood career” when she marries Prince Harry.

The bad blog goes on to contend, “[Markle] won’t be able to give any press interviews or work on projects that aren’t part of her royal duties and responsibilities” as Prince Harry’s wife. “Meghan’s life at Kensington Palace will be a far different one than what she is used to now,” and that’s a life “she needs to prepare for,” concludes the site.
Despite the number of times Gossip Cop has busted the webloid for seemingly fabricating stories about the couple, we still checked in with an impeccable source close to the actress who assures us the entire report is “not true.” Markle, who is not even engaged to her boyfriend, has not been “warned” against marrying the royal. It’s simply fake news, concocted by an outlet which has no insight into the lives of Markle and Prince Harry.

Naturally, we’re not remotely surprised by the website’s latest piece of fiction. In April, Gossip Cop called out the site for falsely alleging Markle was spotted wearing an engagement ring. And shortly before that untrue tale, we debunked the webloid for wrongly claiming Markle was “terrified” her relationship with Prince Harry would be miserable. Neither article was true, and once again, CDL has got it royally wrong.
