And the insider also told OK! Magazine that Harry and Meghan also want to be allowed to have places on the Buckingham Palace balcony, alongside the working royals.
The Sussexes have confirmed they have received an invite to the coronation – but it’s still not a given that they will definitely be attending.
The Daily Mirror reports that a palace insider says that their failure to accept the invitation until their demands are met could lead to chaos.

Kate and William making ‘sure they never put a foot wrong’ after eye-opening controversy
Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, embarked on their tour of the Caribbean a year ago today, March 19. The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas during an eight-day trip to mark the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Quickly, the royal visit became shrouded in controversy, with protests and unfortunately timed photographs dominating the headlines. Now, a royal commentator has claimed the couple are being careful to prevent further issues from happening.
The source told our sister publication: “The Palace are trying to wrap up negotiations as quickly as possible because they can’t go right up to the wire. It could lead to chaos.
“It could very well be that it ends in stalemate, and they won’t attend. But the Palace is doing everything in its power to not let that happen.”
The source added that Archie and Lilibet were not expected to be at the Coronation itself at Westminster Abbey, because small children were not expected to attend such an event, so this had “never been a bone of contention”.

“It’s also Prince Archie’s birthday on Coronation Day so they would like some kind of nod to that at a lunch or drinks reception.
“Even if it’s just a happy birthday mention. Once the King has been crowned, there will be a Coronation procession that will start at Westminster Abbey and end at Buckingham Palace.
“Once the procession reaches the Palace, the King will take to the balcony and wave at the crowds with the rest of the royal family members and their children.
“This is where Harry and Meghan have requested inclusion.”
