Kate Middleton due date: Will royal baby be born on Princess Charlotte’s birthday?

KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, is expected to have her third child at any moment with Kensington Palace keeping tight-lipped about the due date. But with the royal baby likely to arrive later this month, the birth could coincide with a rather special birthday.

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge already have two children, Prince George who was born in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015.

And the royal couple, who wed in 2011 in a lavish ceremony watched by millions around the globe, and now due to welcome their third child this month.

The royal couple announced they were expecting again on September 4 last year, but it was not clear how long she had been pregnant.

And with the royal family keeping the due date a secret, royal fans are anxiously awaiting the newest bundle of joy and the patter of tiny feet across the Lindo Wing.

Will royal baby be born on Princess Charlotte’s birthday?
Kate hung up her royal engagement shoes last month, with her last official duty on Thursday, March 22, marking the start of her maternity leave.

The Duchess will now get to enjoy some well-deserved rest before the big day – which could be in days or even weeks.

With Kate working so late into March, experts suggest this means her due date is likely to be at the end of April.

Bookies odds suggest the baby could be born on St George’s Day, which is April 23.

But if the birth is late, the royal baby’s arrival could coincide with another special occasion for the family.

Kate is thought to have been overdue with both George and Charlotte, so chances are this could happen again.

And this could mean there is a chance the new royal baby could end up sharing their birthday with some of her relatives – including big sister, two-year-old Princess Charlotte.

The adorable Princess Charlotte will turn three on May 3 and is likely expecting a royal bash fit for a princess.

However, the cute tot may end up sharing the day if her mum is forced to make a dash to The Lindo Wing at St Mary’s hospital.

If the royal baby arrives a little earlier, she could share a birthday with her gran, the Queen, who celebrates two birthdays each year.

The Queen’s official birthday is in June, but her actual date of birth is April 21.

Or, if the baby arrives on April 29, his or her birthday will coincide with the wedding anniversary of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, who wed on April 29, 2011
