Get to Know All of Queen Elizabeth’s Grandchildren
William and Harry aren’t the only ones who call the Queen “Granny.”
Prince William may be second-in-line to the throne, but he’s hardly the only royal grandchild. In fact, Queen Elizabeth has eight grandkids (not to mention seven great-grandchildren, including newborns Prince Louis and Lena Elizabeth).
Below, are all of the Queen’s granddaughters and grandsons from oldest to youngest, plus, how they’re related to the British monarch.
Peter Phillips
Age: 40
Parents: Princess Anne and Captain Mark Philips
The Queen’s oldest grandchild, Peter Phillips, tends to stay out of the spotlight, but his daughter Savannahstole the show at this year’s Trooping the Colour, laughing and clapping with Princess Charlotte and playfully telling Prince George to stop singing during the national anthem. Peter and his wife Autumn have two children, Savannah and her little sister Isla.
Prince William
Age: 36
Parents: Prince Charles and Princess Diana
Second-in-line to the throne, Prince William is a full-time working royal who recently undertook a historic trip to the Middle East. William and his wife Catherine have three children together: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Prince Harry
Age: 33
Parents: Prince Charles and Princess Diana
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, the newly named Duchess of Sussex, are both full-time working royals, committed to a number of causes including the global fight against HIV and AIDS and reducing the stigma of mental illness. They were married back in May in a ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Princess Beatrice
Age: 29
Parents: Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York
Princess Beatrice is a non-working royal, and has instead chosen a career in the business world. She is also patron of a number of charities, and in recent months has been spotted on vacation with an A-list group of friends including Karlie Kloss and Ellie Goulding.
Princess Eugenie
Age: 28
Parents: Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York
Over the past few months, Princess Eugenie has been busy wedding planning in addition to her career in the art world. She and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank will tie the knot at Windsor Castle this fall.
James, Viscount Severn
Age: 10
Parents: Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex
Aside from a few family appearances, the public hasn’t seen too much of the Queen’s youngest grandchild, and that’s by design. “For their sakes, to grow up as normally as possible we felt was quite important,” James’s mother Sophie has said.
