Duchess of Cambridge’s sister will tie knot with James Matthews on Saturday
Every bride wants to look their best on the big day, but after her show stopping appearance at her sister’s wedding Pippa Middleton has a lot to live up to.
So it’s no wonder the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge has been indulging in a spot of last-minute pampering as she counts down the final days before walking down the aisle.
The fitness fanatic and author was seen leaving the exclusive Santi London spa in Kensington, West London clutching a bag of products.
She looked unflustered and relaxed and chanelled monochrome chic in a black and white Chanel-inspired jacket and skinny jeans.
Pippa, 33, went for the relaxed vibe, teaming her ensemble with her favourite snakeskin flats.
The exclusive clinic offers everything from Botox to facials and laser hair removal, as well as yoga and meditation.
Clearly a fan of their offerings, Pippa was spotted returning to the £17 million mansion she shares with James Matthews clutching another bag of products.
In addition to beauty treatments, she’s been hitting the gym hard and has joined Grace Belgravia, an exclusive club that promises to create the perfect ‘Hollywood’ pins – at a cost of £55,000 for a lifetime membership.
The women-only Knightsbridge club and spa is home to the Capri Palace Leg School, which uses a method of treatment involving mud packs, bandages, hot and cold water and stone massages pioneered by Italian anti-ageing guru Professor Francesco Canonaco.
He has been dubbed the ‘world expert’ on legs, and counts Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and Christina Aguilera among his adoring clients.
Customers are assured that, after just one session, their limbs will feel lighter, fitter, smoother and ‘slinkier-looking’.
The club’s ‘medical wellbeing clinic’, which assesses the health of all new members is headed by Dr Tim Evans, who is apothecary, or GP, to the Queen.
During her sessions Pippa she may well find herself running into a key guest expected at Saturday’s wedding, as Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle has also signed up.
On Saturday, Pippa is expected to float down the aisle in a gown by high society designer Giles Deacon.
Fitters were seen leaving her London home last week after putting the finishing touches on her dress.
And it seems the guests are expected to set the bar high in the style stakes too, as it’s been reported that she has instructed members of the congregation to bring a second outfit for the evening reception.
According to Daily Mail diarist Richard Eden, the Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister, 33, wants her guests to have a change of clothes for the second leg of her big day on May 30.
When the Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot with Prince William in April 2011, she changed into a second wedding gown for the evening celebrations at Buckingham Palace – so Pippa may well be planning on a change of outfit herself.
