The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed which subject Prince George is currently learning at school. During her engagement at King Henry’s Walk Garden in Islington, London on Tuesday, she spoke with a group of children from nearby St Jude’s and St Paul’s Primary School in a pizza-making session. One child brought up the young Cambridges, sweetly asking: “Here’s my ideal question. Can I see your children?” Kate replied: “They would love to come and do this with you. They will be very sad that I’ve been out here making pizzas with all of you and they haven’t been here. They are in school.”
She later added: “They are in a classroom. Their school is called Thomas’s. George is at a school called Thomas’s. He’s learning about space. Have you all learnt about space?”
Kate’s visit saw her learn how the Islington project brings people together through gardening and food growing. She went for a casual chic look for her day out, wearing skinny jeans, a maroon roll-neck jumper and a tweed jacket. The Duchess, who celebrated her 37th birthday last week, completed her look with a pair of ankle boots. She styled her hair into loose waves.
As well as pizza making with youngsters, she also met a group of children taking part in a gardening workshop. She asked them: “Do you all like learning outside? Do you prefer a classroom in the woodlands or a classroom inside? You can do cool stuff like this. You can learn all the time.”
She later added that she’d love to see George and Charlotte learning more outdoors, adding: “I think that’s where George and Charlotte would love to be. Learning outside the classroom, not inside. It’s still fun inside but it’s much better outside.”
