Is Meghan Markle sad about giving up acting and losing friends to marry Prince Harry?
That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids, but Gossip Cop can correct this. We’re told it’s “false.”
“Meghan: What I Gave Up For Love,” reads a headline from this week’s issue of In Touch, and according to the gossip magazine, the actress has “sacrificed a lot for her real-life Prince Charming.” A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the tabloid, “She’s had to make some huge, life-changing decisions. She couldn’t wait to get to London, but now it’s all beginning to sink in: her life will never be the same again.” The outlet’s alleged insider contends when Markle left her role on “Suits,” it was a “tough decision, but in order to make her relationship work [with Prince Harry], she didn’t have a choice.”
What’s more, the publication asserts Markle was “devastated” to leave her friends and family behind. The tabloid’s supposed “source” adds, “She’ll no longer be able to see them as frequently as she’d like to, and though she’s made friends in London, she met most of them through Harry.” But Gossip Cop looked into the magazine’s claims, and a source close to the actress tells us the report is simply “false.”
Though Markle’s world is set to drastically change as a member of the royal family, she’s eager to embrace a “new chapter” in her life. In her post-engagement interview with the BBC, Markle said that her decision to leave “Suits” doesn’t mean she’s “giving anything up.” And as for the outlet’s contention about the actress “losing her friends” for Prince Harry, that too is completely made-up. The article appears to be nothing more than a fabrication.
It should be noted, this is all coming from the same magazine that previously maintained in a cover story that Markle was pregnant following her engagement to Prince Harry. Much like that untrue claim, this newest one about the actress feeling sad about losing her friends and quitting acting is similarly wrong.
