Did Meghan Markle inspire Kate Middleton’s latest look?
The Duchess of Cambridge met pupils at the Reach Academy Feltham in West London on Wednesday afternoon to mark her first royal engagement of 2018.
For the occasion, the 36-year-old dressed her blossoming baby bump in a royal blue coat that appears to be by go-to British high street brand, Hobbs.
But it was Kate’s $90 maternity dress that caught everyone’s eye. The duchess turned to British maternity label Seraphine for her frock, which, handily, has a boutique located a stone’s throw from Kensington Palace.

The ‘Florrie’ floral print dress isn’t a new addition to the royal’s wardrobe: The 36-year-old wore it while pregnant with Charlotte and clearly hung on to it for a potential pregnancy number three.
She finished the look with coordinating shoes and a suede clutch.
The duchess’s look is very reminiscent of the ensemble Meghan Markle wore on her debut royal engagement in Nottingham alongside husband-to-be, Prince Harry.
Markle sported a double breasted, maxi-length Elodie coat by Canadian designer Mackage for her first public appearance back in December 2017.
The school that the duchess visited works in partnership with Place2Be, a mental health charity of which the mom has been the patron of since 2013.
The organization strives to provide support and training to teachers and staff with the aim to improve the emotional well-being of families and pupils.
