This is what Meghan Markle wore to Pippa Middleton’s wedding: Prince Harry’s girlfriend reportedly makes untraditional dress choice to avoid upstaging James Matthews stunning bride

Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton at the reception of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding.
Pippa Middleton and James Matthews tied to knot on Saturday May 20, 2017 in a glorious wedding that is said to have cost the happy couple a staggering £1 million.
Kate Middleton, Prince William, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, Prince Harry and former Made in Chelse star Spencer Matthews all included.
And of course, Meghan Markle. While the Suits actress didn’t turn up for the ceremony itself, she did make an appearance at the black-tie reception.
The gorgeous brunette is said to have made an unusual outfit choice at the after party.
After 32-year-old Harry drove 100 miles to pick her up for the event, 35-year-old Meghan reportedly turned up to the celebrations in all black.
Meghan wore a floor length dress teamed with a white jacket, according to The Sun.
Wearing black to a wedding is a contentious fashion choice, with the dark hue often more associated with funeral attire.
The move is also said to be a part of the couples’ plan not to upstage the union of Kate’s sister and Spencer’s brother.
And that is said to be the reason Harry’s girlfriend avoided the pap-laced church ceremony, too.
“[Prince Harry] knew this was all about Pippa’s big day and he and Meghan jointly decided they didn’t want to upstage her. Harry went all the way back to London to get Meghan and bring her to the party,” a source told the paper.
They continued: “He was determined not to upstage Pippa but also really wanted them to enjoy the wedding together.
“He didn’t want Meghan having to arrive alone, without him alongside her, at the reception.”
Harry and Meghan have been in a relationship for a year now, so it’s understandable the loved-up duo wanted to spend the special day together.
Pippa stunned in a lace Giles Deacon wedding gown with a high neck and drop back.
She finished the look with beautiful bridal up do that experts at Charles Worthington have told OK! Online how to recreate.
