Netflix’s ‘Diana: A True Musical Story’ sees Jeanna de Waal play the late Princess of Wales. Ms de Waal grew up in Solihull before making her name on Broadway – and previously worked as a waitress in London.
It was in this role that she met Prince Harry as she served him champagne.
The Duke of Sussex called it a night at 5am, with the waitress saying he had a “great time”.
She said: “This one time, I got asked to do a gig where the princes were attending and I was personally in charge of making sure Harry’s champagne glass was always topped up.
“My memories of it are that he and his girlfriend at the time were the last on the dancefloor. We were trying to clear the tables up at 5am and he was having a great time.”

Speaking to PeopleTV, Ms de Waal said she wanted to invite Harry and William to see the musical.
But she understands it “might be very upsetting for them” to relive the narrative.
In 2020, she told The Daily Beast the production was “done with tact” and that the cast was “trying to portray a human story”.
She added: “I feel such a responsibility to Diana – she’s so present and in the zeitgeist.”

The musical will be available to stream on Netflix on October 1.
According to The Daily Mail, the play’s script features Queen Elizabeth II calling Diana “a tart” along with the line: “In the old days we would have chopped off your head.”
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Washington Post that, in his opinion, the trailer “had a synthetic look as though it was a piece of merchandise, with Diana’s face on it.”
Journalist Rebecca Reid labelled the trailer “the worst thing I’ve ever seen.
It comes as Diana’s bridesmaid India Hicks married her partner after 26 years together.
The ceremony took place at the Brightwell Baldwin Parish Church in Oxfordshire and was followed by a reception at the Lord Nelson pub.
A source close to Hicks told PEOPLE: “It was a magical day full of joy and happiness.
“Everyone was thrilled to see India and David walk down the aisle together after so many years together, not least their five children and India’s mother Lady Pamela Hicks.”
Princess Diana news: Harry and William recently paid tribute to Prince Philip
It also comes as Harry and William both paid tribute to Prince Philip in a trailer for a BBC documentary.
In a snippet of the documentary shared by the broadcaster, four members of the Royal Family reminisced on Prince Philip’s life along with clips of him and his family over the years.
In the trailer, William said: “He’s always been a huge presence behind everything we’re done really.”
Harry also said: “What you see is what you got with my grandfather, he was unapologetically him.”
