King Charles and Queen Camilla are today embarking on their first tour abroad since the monarch’s accession to the throne.
Their Majesties arrived in Germany after an incredible military escort by two German fighter jets as their RAF Voyager entered German airspace.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have landed in Berlin, the first stop of their packed three-day tour to Germany. After leaving Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the royal couple headed to the Brandenburg Gate to meet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender. Together, they attended the full ceremonial welcome – the first to be carried out for a head of state at the historic landmark. After listening to the national anthems of the UK and Germany, King Charles inspected the guard of honour. He then got to meet a few German fans lined up to catch a glimpse of him and Camilla.

King Charles III and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier planted a tree after attending a Green Energy reception at Bellevue Palace, Berlin, the official residence of the President of Germany, during his State Visit to Germany.
