King Charles greets well-wishers after meeting German president

King Charles and Queen Camilla have landed in Berlin, the first stop of their packed three-day tour to Germany. After leaving Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the royal couple headed to the Brandenburg Gate to meet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender. Together, they attended the full ceremonial welcome – the first to be carried out for a head of state at the historic landmark. After listening to the national anthems of the UK and Germany, King Charles inspected the guard of honour. He then got to meet a few German fans lined up to catch a glimpse of him and Camilla.
