Chance of Lilibet Diana reaching England ‘next to zero’ – Queen’s ‘heartbreak’

LILIBET DIANA, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is unlikely to reach England, with her chances rated at “next to zero”, an unearthed account claims.

Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, shocked the world last year with their announcement that they would “step back” from their roles in the Royal Family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to North America and now live in the exclusive, leafy enclave of Montecito in Santa Barbara, California. Meghan gave birth to the couple’s first child, Archie Harrison, two years ago, before their second born, Lilibet Diana, came along in June of this year.

Lilibet takes her name from the nickname used by the Royal Family for the Queen and from Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.

Shortly after his birth in London, Archie had his first meeting with his great-grandmother, the Queen.

In a charming picture the monarch was captured beaming alongside her late husband, Prince Philip, and Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother.

However, questions have been raised over whether Lilibet, who was born in California, will ever make it to England to visit her great-grandmother.

The Sussexes left royal life behind them after a major fallout with some members of the Royal Family and have since publicly revealed embarrassing details about the inner workings of the Firm.

The royal rift combined with Harry and Meghan’s life in California, means Lilibet is unlikely to visit England any time soon, according to Dylan Howard, a journalist and royal commentator.

The co-author of ‘Royals at War: The Untold Story of Harry and Meghan’s Shocking Split with the House of Windsor’ made the stark admission during the 2021 documentary, ‘Secrets Of The Royal – The Markles vs. The Monarchy’.

He said: “The chances of the newborn reaching England in the foreseeable future is next to zero.

Harry and Meghan announced their intentions to step back as “senior” royals last year and become financially independent.

Earlier this year Buckingham Palace confirmed that they would not return as “working members of the Royal Family.”

The couple had previously spoken out about the pressures of being in media spotlight and the toll it had taken on their mental health.

They then gave a bombshell interview to A-list talk show host Oprah Winfrey in March, unleashing a barrage of stinging claims about life inside the Firm.

Among the most shocking was Meghan’s allegation that when she was pregnant with Archie, one royal had asked “how dark” her unborn baby’s skin would be.

The Duchess also went deeper into her discussions of her own mental health, revealing that she had thought about taking her own life, and alleging a lack of support from the Palace.

Harry told Oprah that his family had cut him off financially and that he had to pay for his own security.

The Duke also said his father, Prince Charles, had stopped taking his calls, while saying that he and brother, Prince William were on “different paths.”

Since moving to North America, the Sussexes have signed lucrative deals to produce content for Netflix and Spotify.

Last month Harry also revealed he would publish a memoir via Penguin Random House late next year, with all the proceeds to be donated to charity.

In a statement, he said: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.”
