Bizarre reason Catherine Duchess of Cambridge kept her coat on at Norway royals’ pad

REVEALED: Bizarre reason Catherine Duchess of Cambridge kept her coat on at Norway royals’ pad

KATE Middleton was snapped wearing a pricey coat during lunch with the Norway royals – even as Wills kicked back in a casual jumper.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, kept on her pricey Dolce & Gabbana outfit with the others looking notably more relaxed.

Wills, 35, and Kate arrived in Norway on Thursday and were invited to Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit’s Royal pad during their visit.

So why did Kate opt for the formal look?

It all comes down to centuries of royal tradition.

She was unable to remove it because it is “unladylike to undress in public”, OK! reports.

The Queen and Meghan Markle are also required to follow the strict fashion rules.

However, Prince Harry’s bride-to-be has taken some liberties with her appearance – recently opting for a “messy” hairstyle during a trip to Cardiff.

Earlier this week, Kate stunned in a multi-coloured floral dress for a black tie dinner in Sweden.

But she left Royal fans gobsmacked for all the wrong reasons, as they accused her of “forgetting the black memo”.

Many slammed her choice of dress as a “fashion disaster”, as she posed for cameras alongside a full Royal line-up of black suits and gowns.

Out on a ski slope, the cheeky Duchess of Cambridge hurled a snowball right at Wills’ face.

The couple were taken to the top of the the Holmenkollen ski jump site near Oslo and Kate just couldn’t resist.
