Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as full-time working members of the Firm in the spring of 2020.
US journalist Megyn Kelly hit out at Meghan and Prince Harry for their decision to step down as full-time working members of the Firm. Speaking with Sky News Australia host Paul Murray, the commentator said: “It would have been nice being a royal living in a castle, but I guess that job was too cr***y for them, so now they are down in basement-level stuff like you and me, welcome to the jungle!”
The journalists were discussing whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as senior royals in the spring of 2020, will attend King Charles’s Coronation in May. Asked about it last month by ITV’s Tom Bradby, Harry said: “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then. But, you know, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they can… that they are willing to sit down and talk about it, because there’s a lot that’s happened in six years. And prior to that as well.”
