CAMILLA has been praised by royal fans as she prepares to host an event to support young women.
In a post on her Instagram page, the Duchess of Cornwall was pictured raising a mug to the Prince’s Trust Brilliant Breakfast initiative. The initiative seeks to raise funds to support the development of young women who need assistance with setting up their own business or to secure a job.
The Prince’s Trust was founded in 1976 by Prince Charles to help people struggling with their lives.
The Brilliant Breakfast, which will take place between October 11-17, is encouraging the general public to host their own morning meals with friends, family and colleagues.
Last year £329,000 was raised and helped more than 300 women.
The Instagram post was captioned: “The Duchess of Cornwall today welcomed women to Clarence House who have been supported by @PrincesTrust, ahead of the charity’s Brilliant Breakfast campaign.
“The Brilliant Breakfast aims to raise funds to help develop the confidence and skills of young women needed to secure jobs or start their own businesses.
“The young women at the meeting today have taken part in different Prince’s Trust courses including the Enterprise programme, which helps young people to start their own business, and the Get Into programme, which gives young people vital training and experience they need to secure entry-level roles across a range of employment sectors.
The post continued: “The Brilliant Breakfast runs from 11th to 17th October, and you’re invited to get involved!”
Royal fans were thrilled to see Camilla beaming and supporting her husband’s initiative.
One Instagram user said: “How wonderful to see her involved with women supported by his charity!
