The Queen officially moved into Balmoral Castle on Monday after travelling to Scotland last month.
Balmoral welcomed the monarch for her annual summer holiday with a ceremony outside the Castle.
This is the Queen’s first summer holiday without her husband, Prince Philip, who tragically died in April.
While the Queen, 95, arrived at the castle alone, she is expected to welcome many guests during her stay.
Prince Andrew and Princess Eugenie have already joined the Queen for their summer retreat.
Last year, the Wessexes were the first to visit the Queen at Balmoral.
