However, while they carry out numerous royal duties and are regularly pictured, much of their lives are shrouded in secrecy.

Which is why everyone is so obsessed with the recent insight into the Queen’s daily life – what she likes to eat and drink on a daily basis.

Queen Elizabeth starts the day with a pot of freshly brewed Earl Grey tea.

Each morning, the Queen’s breakfast table is laid out with cornflakes and porridge oats, yoghurt and two kinds of marmalade.
Then, according to the Independent, before lunch, she enjoys a gin and Dubonnet (a sweet wine-based aperatif) with a slice of lemon and a lot of ice.

With lunch she also reportedly enjoys a glass of wine.
For lunch she enjoys grilled fish or chicken, with salad, according to former royal chef Darren McGrady who spoke to The Telegraph.

Later on, she apparently enjoys a dry Martini and a flute of champagne before bed, which totals approximately six units a day.
Then for dinner she reportedly has game such as pheasant from Sandringham, or venison or salmon from Balmoral.
