Each one of them inspired countless wedding dress imitations, but the finishing touches made all the difference to the royal brides.

Their hair, make-up, flowers and jewellery have all been analysed in the years following their wedding days, but until now we’ve never been able to report on what we couldn’t see. However, the perfume may have caused some problems…According to Brides, Diana accidentally knocked over her bottle, spilling the perfume on her beloved dress. She then tried to cover the stain as she walked down the aisle, but thankfully no-one appeared to notice the accident.
