The Queen was “delighted” as news emerged about Catherine, according to Kensington Palace
Kate Middleton pregnancy in pictures: George, Charlotte and Baby No 3
Kate Middleton and Prince William are happily expecting their third royal baby which is due in April 2018. Here is a look at Kate’s pregnancy through her best photos with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The Queen was “delighted”, according to Kensington Palace, when Kate’s third pregnancy was announced on September 4 2017.
And the Duchess of Cambridge has now asked the Queen for a “scaled back schedule” of public engagements out of health concerns, a royal insider has claimed.
Kate Middleton suffered bouts of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness, with both her previous pregnancies and is suffering from the condition again.
The Duchess has so far managed to successfully conceal her baby bump from the media.
During a surprise visit to West Ham stadium with Prince William last week, Kate wore a stylish blue suit which gave away absolutely no indication that she was expecting a baby.
Even throughout her first pregnancy, William’s stylish wife managed to hide her belly behind carefully selected clothing.
In February 2013, just two months after her pregnancy with Prince George was announced, Kate was photographed at an Action on Addiction women’s treatment centre with barely any sign of a raised tummy.
Even a month before George was born on July 22, Kate still managed to dazzle the crowds.
In June she wore a loose leopard-print dress at the naming ceremony for the ship ‘Royal Princess’, complimenting her pregnant figure.
And in the final days before Kate was submitted to St Mary’s Hospital, she entertained the crowds from the Buckingham Palace balcony, in a pink coat that outlined her baby bump.
Then on July 22, the world collectively gasped when Kate and William stepped out of the Lido Wing of the London hospital with a baby Prince George lovingly held in their hands.
The new parents were photographed beaming with joy as they presented their little bundle of joy to the ecstatic crowds gathered outside.
Just three months later, Kate and William carried the little royal baby to his christening at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace.
The world once again focused its attention on Kate’s figure when Kensington Palace announced the imminent arrival of Princess Charlotte on September 8 2014.
The first hints of Kate’s baby bump can be spotted in photographs of the Duke and Duchess officials welcoming the president of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam.
The pregnancy was much more evident when Kate visited the new Ben Ainslie Racing headquarters in February 2015, sporting an elegant knee-long white coat.
Then in March, Kate donned her leopard-print style dress once again in a clear indication her pregnant tummy was taking shape.
In the week running up to the birth of Princess Charlotte, the streets outside St Mary’s hospital were again lined with thrilled onlookers.
Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, with Kate and William stepping out to greet the world with their newborn daughter.
The world’s cameras were once again trained on the royal baby when she was christened at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate in July.
Kate and William have since been photographed with their adorable children on numerous occasions.
In 2015 the happy family was pictured sharing a smile on the grounds of Kensington Palace.
A year later the family were photographed frolicking in the snow, during a family skiing holiday in the French Alps.
Charlotte and George have also been spotted several times on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, waving at the crowds attending the Trooping the Colour celebrations.
