The Queen Has Organised An Extravagant Birthday Bash For Prince Charles
The heir to the throne turns 70 in November
Organising a birthday bash can be headache-inducing with details from the guest list to the venue often proving harder than anticipated. But what if you had the Queen on hand to plan it for you?
Prince Charles will turn 70 on November 14 and to celebrate, Her Majesty is reportedly throwing him an extravagant party at none other than Buckingham Palace. Sure beats a function room, huh?
According to reports, hundreds of invitations to the private event – set to take place in the impressive State Rooms – have already been sent out with select European royals also making the exclusive guest list.
On the evening, Her Majesty will reportedly give a speech while the Duke of Edinburgh is also expected to make a rare appearance.
A series of celebratory events are also in the pipeline to commemorate the heir to the throne’s birthday. ITV is set to broadcast a star-studded evening of comedy and magic from the London Palladium with proceeds going towards the Prince’s Trust charity.
While two upcoming BBC documentaries are expected to air in the near future. In true royal tradition, a birthday portrait of the 69-year-old will also be released.
But Prince Charles has already celebrated his birthday once this year. The royal family gathered for a Buckingham Palace garden party on May 22 to mark the big day, giving a whole new meaning to the now-popular ‘birthday month’. The event marked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first engagement as a married couple.
