REVEALED: Prince George’s VERY fancy lunch menu – and it sounds yummy
THIS is the fancy lunch menu that Prince George is being fed at his £17k-a-year school – and it sounds tasty.
Just last week the four-year-old arrived at the gates of Thomas’s Battersea in Wandsworth, London, for his first day of school holding on to dad Prince William’s hand.
Mum Kate was forced to miss out on his first day of school due to severe morning sickness after she announced she was expecting her third baby with William a few days before.
Prince George’s first day at school
The third in line to the throne sported an adorable John Lewis-approved uniform and looked nervous as he shook hands with his headteacher.
But now – the nation is desperate to find out whether Prince George’s school menu is fit for a king – and yes it definitely is.
Every day, kids can choose between a meat, fish or vegetarian meal option – and that doesn’t include a starter plus freshly baked bread daily.
George will sink his teeth into a lamb ragout with garlic and fresh herbs, “BBQ” pork strips, tomato and avocado bruschetta, and baked smoked mackerel.
And not forgetting free range chicken with minced chilli con carne and three bean ratatouille – all of which have been listed on the sample menu on the school’s website.
There will be room for dessert as the school – described as “the best money can buy” – will also feed its students custard tarts, tropical fruit smoothies and milkshakes.
Kids are also given a morning break to indulge in fresh fruit, breadsticks, cheese and organic semi-skimmed milk.
But although the prince’s menu sounds lush – it has been reported that the royal is not allowed a best friend at school.
The claim made by Loose Women’s Jane Moore said: “There’s a policy that is your child is having a party, unless every child in the class is invited you don’t give out the invites in class.
“They don’t encourage you to have best friends.”
