Sleepy Princess Charlotte leaves Queen’s Christmas lunch with mum and dad – as Prince William and Kate Middleton enlist help of nanny Maria Borrallo
PRINCE William and Kate Middleton escorted their little ones home after a long day with The Queen.
Princess Charlotte and her brother Prince George joined the royal family at the Queen’s Christmas lunch on Wednesday (20 December 2017).
But the two year old looked ready for bed when she was driven away from Buckingham Palace this afternoon alongside her four year old brother and their nanny Maria Borrallo.
Dressed in a red cardigan and floral frock, the gorgeous toddler furrowed her brow when photographers’ lightbulbs flashed at her mum and dad’s black Land Rover Discovery, as they nipped out of the palace gates.
Kate and Prince William arrived with their children and the nanny in tow earlier in the day, with the couple seemingly in high spirits. The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge looked glowing, grinning as she chatted to her family.
Her daughter is preparing to attend nursery next year, with Kate enrolling her in the prestigous Willcocks Nursery School, located next to the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Fees for the private school – which is located near to their Kensington Palace home – are £9,150 a year for morning sessions and £5,400 for afternoons, and will provide Charlotte with pottery and poetry classes.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle made her third public appearance at the Queen’s lunch, which saw her meet her husband-to-be’s cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and her uncle Prince Harry.
The American actress looked stunning for her visit to Buckingham Palace wearing a black, high-neck lace dress.
She had styled her dark locks into a sleek straight do which cascaded around her shoulders and tucked behind her ears, unveiling a beautiful pair of diamond earrings.
