How Sarah Ferguson was SHUT OUT of Royal Family – ‘There was Fergie in a shocking scene’
THE shocking moment the Royal Family discovered Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York’s, tabloid shame has been revealed in an explosive documentary. Sarah, Duchess of York, paved the way for her exit from the royals in 1992 when pictures emerged of the redhead receiving a toe-sucking from oil tycoon John Bryan, who was described as her financial advisor.
The Duchess was staying at Balmoral when the shocking images were published and the Windsors came across them in the morning newspapers at the breakfast table.
Her relationship with her in-laws, particularly the Duke of Edinburgh, was left in tatters.
Royal biographer, Penny Juror, said: “She was famously photographed with her financial advisor and she was wearing a bikini in some garden in the south of France and he appeared to be sucking her toes.
“She was at Balmoral when those photographs came out. The family came down for breakfast and there was Fergie in this shocking scene and that was the end.”
In 1992 the Duke and Duchess of York finally announced their separation after reportedly spending a lot of time part while Prince Andrew was on royal duties.
Just months later the photographs emerged of the Duchess sunbathing topless and frolicking in St Tropez.
Royal commentator, Dickie Arbiter, told ITV’s ‘The Royal Wives of Windsor’: “Okay you don’t expect somebody to crawl through the bushes to take photographs of you topless while your financial advisor is sucking your toes.
“You don’t expect that but by the same token you don’t go away with somebody that isn’t your husband and sunbathe topless.”

Sarah and Prince Andrew, who have two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, divorced in 1996.
She has not been an official member of the Royal Family in 20 years but still shares a residence with her ex-husband Prince Andrew.
However, the Duke of Edinburgh has never forgiven the Duchess of York.
He is thought to be so upset at Sarah Ferguson’s toe-sucking scandal and embarrassment to the Royal Family that he struggled to be in the same room as her at Princess Eugenie’s upcoming wedding.
In 2000, the Duchess of York said that she and her former husband had talked of remarrying but that Prince Philip forbade it.
In recent years, the Duchess has been to Balmoral for short breaks with the Queen, Andrew, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – but is only thought to have stayed when Philip was away.
She was not invited to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding.
But it is believed she will be invited to Harry’s Royal Wedding to Meghan Markle, because the young prince is thought to be close with his aunt.
