SARAH Ferguson has joined her ex-husband Prince Andrew at the Queen’s summer residence of BaSarah Ferguson shocks as she joins Prince Andrew on holiday in Balmoral ‘it’s significant’lmoral.
The Duchess of York looks to have been welcomed back into The Firm after she was spotted arriving in the Scottish Highlands on a commercial flight on Thursday. Prince Andrew arrived separately on a private jet. It is thought they are enjoying a week’s holiday in the Scottish Highlands, and Fergie could be set to meet the Queen who is also taking her summer holiday there.
The Duchess of York has worked hard to regain trust with the Queen and Prince Philip after she split from Andrew and sensational photographs of Sarah having her toe sucked emerged in the Nineties.
The couple’s children, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie will join in the festivities as they regroup with the rest of the family.
Prince Andrew has been spotted regularly with his ex-wife over recent months amid speculation the couple could rekindle their romance decades after divorcing.

A royal insider said: “Prince Andrew and Sarah are at Balmoral as guests of the Queen and are expected to be there for a number of days.
“They will be joined by their daughters for some of the holidays.
“It’s not the first time they’ve been there as a couple in recent years but it’s significant because of all the rumours about them getting back together.
“The Queen wanted them there as a family and it’s very much her giving the private nod of approval.”

The pair were invited to stay at the Queen’s summer retreat over the past three summers as Fergie works her way back into the royal fold.
The news comes just month’s after ITV’s royal correspondent Chris Ship claimed the couple were unofficially back together.
Mr Ship also disclosed the couple had spent a weekend in Bahrain as the pair visited the Bahrain Crown prince for a private visit.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams added the pair had never left each other and were always close, but was unsure whether the couple would remarry.

Fuelling the rumours, Sarah Ferguson has been present at a string of recent royal events.
She sat next to her former husband at the wedding of the pair’s daughter Eugenie last year, while she was also invited to join fellow royals at Royal Ascot.
She has even shown support for her ex-partner through social media, liking and reacting to Twitter comments and images posted by the Prince.
But Palace officials have been quick to silence claims the two have rekindled their relationship, keeping royal buffs guessing as to what the situation is between the pair.

A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said: “The Duke of York’s travel to Scotland was paid for privately. Balmoral is the Queen’s private home so we wouldn’t comment on who may or may not be staying there.”
The pair separated in March 1992 before becoming legally divorced four years later.
But just months after splitting, the family were embroiled in controversy after intimate photos were leaked of the Duchess’ feet being kissed by millionaire John Bryan.

Despite the controversy, Prince Andrew and Fergie have remained friends and enjoy a close relationship with their two daughters.
She retained the title Duchess of York and still lives with her ex-husband at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Insiders have hinted senior members of the Royal Family are against the move, with Prince Philip puzzled with the Duchess’ continued involvement at the front of the family.

He has reportedly called Fergie odd and pointless and has refused to speak to his former daughter-in-law since the 1992 scandal.
But Prince Phillip was spotted sitting in front of Fergie during the official photograph at Eugenie’s wedding last year, although experts suggested this was the Duke grinning and bearing it rather than a genuine act of solidarity.
Future King Prince Charles is said to back up his father, while the Queen has always wanted her children to be happy and is said to support the pair.
