PRINCE HARRY may be a royal but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t enjoy a cheeky Nando’s like the rest of us.
Prince Harry was once spotted ordering a Nando’s, one of the nation’s much-loved chicken restaurant, but his choice of meal won’t leave you impressed. Harry and older brother Prince William have both previously revealed they are fans of tucking into a cheeky Nando’s from time to time and now details of the Duke of Sussex’s order have been divulged. The Duke, who is married to former Suits actress Meghan Markle, was introduced to the South African chain a few years back by his personal protection officer and has been spotted at the restaurant several times since.
He once grabbed a midnight snack from the Fulham Broadway branch, south west London, following England’s Word Cup qualification in 2013 with details of his order now being revealed.
Prince Harry, who was accompanied by two security personnel, forked out £24.05 on a takeaway Nando’s order for him and a friend.
The order was placed at 11.50pm at night and customers and staff alike were left stunned by the royal visit.
One person said: “It was surreal. He was very charming and politely refused a member of staff who approached him for a picture. I was gobsmacked to see him.”

Another customer added: “Moments after he left the restaurant clutching his dinner in a paper bag a member of staff jumped on the bench the Harry was sitting on and shouted: “I’m on the Prince’s throne!’ Nobody could believe what happened.”
But Nando’s fans may not be impressed by what the Duke ordered from the menu, as his choice of sauce was rather bland.
He ordered a pitta with extra cheese and a side of creamy mash, along with a double chicken wrap with chips.
He also got a soft drink and a bottle of water.

This may not seem controversial, but the pitta was accompanied by the lemon and herb sauce, the chain’s mildest offering.
Higher up on the spice level include: medium, hot and XX hot.
It’s unclear whether Harry – who wore a green polo shirt, denim jeans and a baseball cap partially disguising his face according to a witness – paid full price for the grub or took advantage of the 20 per ent discount Nando’s offers to military personnel.
The late night visit wasn’t his first trip to the popular restaurant however.

In 2009 he ordered a similar meal in Stevenage with a group of Army friends at a branch near their Hertfordshire base.
Like Harry, Prince William has also spoken about his love for Nando’s in the past.
The Duke of Cambridge met the co-founder of the restaurant chain Robert Brozin at an event, and said he loved the food.
Pointing to his protection order, he said: “This man here is your biggest fan, he’s introduced me to Nando’s.

“It’s very good. He should buy a stake in Nando’s.”
The royal brothers aren’t the only ones to declare their love for the restaurant chain, with celebrities such as Drake, Adele and David Beckham also publicly backing the brand.
In 2017, Drake reportedly spend $650 on a Nando’s order for his crew, following a concert in Leeds.
