QUEEN ELIZABETH II could have caused the split between Prince William and Prince Harry, it’s been revealed.
The Queen, 93, is the grandmother of Prince William and Prince Harry. The monarch is at 93-years-old still performing a ton of royal duties every year, however, she has reportedly started giving way for other members of the Royal Family. Queen Elizabeth II has now started to share some of her official duties with her son Prince Charles and grandson Prince William.
But the change could have caused a rift between William and his younger brother Prince Harry.
The move means the Duke of Cambridge has split from the common path he had set out with his brother.
Royal author Juliet Rieden has now given insight to how the Queen has caused the split.
She told Nine News Australia: “The two brothers have very different roles.

“Prince William is going to be king one day. The Queen is 93 and she’s offloading a lot of her work both to her son and to her grandson.
“William has really had to up the ante and take on a lot of this heavy lifting.”
In June the two royal brothers split from the Royal Foundation charity they set up together in 2009.
Instead, they will have separate projects with their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

Ms Rieden continued: “This is Prince Harry and Prince William going their separate way with their wives – they’re almost setting up two separate courts.
“It did surprise me because back in February 2018 we had that wonderful Fab 4 on stage, doing wonderful things. A whole brave new world for the Royal Family.
“We’d never seen this sort of presentation, it was almost like a brand presentation.
“We’ve never seen that sort of thing before so it felt like this was going to be the way forward.”

The charitable organisation has been renamed the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge after having previously included the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan and Harry plan to launch their own charitable organisation by the end of this year called Sussex Royal The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, or simply Sussex Royal.
A Buckingham Palace source told Scobie the new organisation will “allow the Sussexes to do things exactly how they want”.
The source added: ”Their operating style is very different to the Cambridges and so having their own space to think as big as they like, working on a global scale, is perfect for them.”
The insider also noted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are thinking big with their philanthropic plans: “Not only will their new foundation stand the test of time, but it will allow them to do some very ambitious things.
“Their charity will provide them with an opportunity to create something that will be their defining work—and it’s entirely theirs.”
