PRINCESS Diana and Sarah Ferguson were once detained by police outside Buckingham Palace while dressed as police officers according to a leading royal biographer.
The couple were released after one of the police officers recognised the Princess of Wales. It is alleged they went on to play a prank on Prince Andrew, Ms Ferguson’s partner, which resulted in him fearing his car was being ambushed. The claims were made by Sarah Bradford, also known as Viscountess Bangor, in The Daily Mail.
Referring to Diana and Fergie Ms Bradford said: “There was always trouble afoot when the two women got together.
“On Fergie’s hen night she and Diana wore grey wigs, dressed up as policewomen and pretended to arrest a ‘prostitute’ outside Buckingham Palace.
“They were put in a police van until one of the policemen recognised Diana.
“He was so shocked he couldn’t believe it.”
