QUEEN ELIZABETH II was left shocked after she was struck in the face at the Royal Windsor Cup polo match on Sunday.

The 93-year-old remained cool after the unfortunate blunder, which saw the royal hit with a black scarf. She dazzled while wearing a pink coat and floral dress before Japanese musician Yoskiki reached to save his garment from attacking Her Majesty again. According to the Daily Mail, actress Gillian Anderson was left visibly stunned with the incident as the royal descended the stairs from her box.
And Yoskiki also left others red-faced by breaking protocol as he tried to save the scarf.
Yoskiki was also stunned as he watched the Queen continue to make a presentation as usual.
Despite the incident, the Queen still beamed as she spoke to guests.

The Queen was ever-present at Royal Ascot last week but decided not to rest today and instead attend another event.
She traditionally hands out the trophy at the end of the polo tournament.
Saturday was the final day of Royal Ascot this year and the Queen was in attendance as usual.

Their public appearance sent shockwaves through social media, with many fans insisting the pair were going to “remarry”.
One fan commented: “Just re-marry and make us all happy.”
While another replied: “Yes I love them together!”
A third wrote: “I wish you’d get married again!”
