MEGHAN MARKLE’s dad has blasted Prince Harry for his scandalous past, referring to the Duke of Sussex’s infamous strip billiards game in a Las Vegas suite and the Nazi uniform he wore to a costume party.
In a desperate attempt to reconcile with his daughter, Thomas Markle issued another heartfelt plea and exposed more intimate details from his relationship with Meghan. Mr Markle claimed he has been “frozen out” of the Royal Family since the Royal Wedding in May. He tried to defend his mistakes by reminding Meghan her husband too was involved in infamous scandals.
He told the Daily Mail: “I’ve pleaded with her to pick up the phone.
“I wrote her a two-page letter and sent it by certified mail via her representative in Los Angeles.“I asked her why she was believing the lies.
“I wrote that I’ve never played pool naked, nor have I dressed up as a Nazi.”
The estranged father of the Duchess referred to the pictures that emerged of Prince Harry at a “high rollers hotel suite” in Vegas during a game of strip billiards in 2012.
One photo showed Harry, stark naked but for a wristwatch and a necklace.
The Duke of Sussex was also snapped at a party dressed as a Nazi in 2005.
The Prince, who was 20-years-old at the time, immediately issued a statement apologising for wearing the uniform with a swastika armband.
In the statement, Harry said he was “very sorry if I caused any offence or embarrassment to anyone”.
Mr Markle, who is on a public campaign to get Meghan to speak with him again, added he hand-delivered a letter to Doria asking her why their daughter wouldn’t speak to him.
He noted: “Everything has been met with a stony silence.”
The 74-year-old was expected to walk Meghan down the aisle at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, but he pulled out days before, citing health reasons.
And it was revealed ahead of the Windsor wedding that Mr Markle had staged paparazzi pictures, sparking the row with Meghan and Harry.
