PRINCE HARRY provided a special royal touch as the couple continued their aim in helping those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The pair visited Homebody industries – a non-profit organisation which employs former gang members and other groups attempting to rebuild their lives. Speaking to US Weekly, Father Greg Boyle was delighted with the royal couple’s visit and explained how the pair lent a helping hand. “They helped bake bread and they helped package all these meals that go to seniors and to foster care youth and folks who are having a difficult time during the pandemic.”

Father Boyle revealed his ‘stimulating conversation’ with Meghan before the visit two weeks before.

He recalled: “She’s quite a deep thinker on these issues, so it was really a stimulating conversation, and then it was followed up with, ‘Hey, we want to come by.”

“I think now that they’re in Los Angeles, they’re the real deal, these two,”

“They really kind of want to make an impact so I give them a lot of credit because their hearts and their minds are, I think, in the right place.”

One of the most touching moments of the visit came after Harry comforted a woman who had just lost the father of her son.

During the conversation, the woman broke into tears and Harry rushed to comfort her.

Speaking of the incident, Father Boyle praised Harry for his initial response.

“He just threw her arms around her and held her for a long time.

“It was very, very touching.”

He added: “His funeral is next week, so she just starts to cry and forget social distancing.

“Harry just held her.

“It was very sweet, very sweet.

“But it was kind of raw for her.”

The pair asked father Boyle if they could “pitch in.”

He revealed they “didn’t just want to do the tour or the round table discussion, they wanted to pitch in.”
