KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore one particular piece of clothing for the first time since she became a royal in a charity yachting event in Cowes.
As reported by The Sun, Kate wore a pair of sorts for the first time in eleven years. She wore a navy blue pair of shoes as she went up against husband, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge at the King’s Cup. The last time the Duchess wore a pair of shorts in public was in September 2008 at the Day-Glo Midnight Roller Disco Party in London.
She wore a yellow pair of mini shorts and a sequinned green top.

Royal fans seemed to admire the royal’s legs.
One tweeted: “I’m going to keep it real. I’m getting a trainer and taking these pics to them to have them set me up to get her legs.”
Another concurred: “Huge fan of the wonderful Kate, those legs are killers.”

According to a royal insider speaking to the Daily Mail: “Kate is an exercise junkie. Pippa and Kate take their toned physiques extremely seriously. And mother Carole, in her 60s, is in extremely good shape.”
Ashley Pearson explained Kate’s refusal to wear shorts: “Kate Middleton has a whole other set of rules and restrictions because she’s going to be Queen.
“Kate Middleton has to wear her skirts a certain length.”
Kate and William married in April 2011.

They have since had three children.
Two sons in Prince George and Prince Louis plus daughter Princess Charlotte.
Kate and William are set to travel to Pakistan later this year.
They are both down to be big sports fans with Kate being the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, she has also been seen playing cricket in Mumbai and playing football with her husband and local children at Windsor Park in Belfast.
