PEOPLE on Twitter shared their reactions to seeing Prince George’s carefree side in a recently released portrait for the royal Christmas card.
Royal fans took to Twitter to comment on what appears to be a carefree side of Prince George in this years royal Christmas card portrait. One wrote: “What a lovely family photograph! HRH Prince George definitely looks like he is having fun!” Others pointed out George was not wearing shorts. One wrote: “PRINCE GEORGE IS IN LONG PANTS. I REPEAT, LONG PANTS.” Another said: “I think that’s the first time I’ve seen Prince George in long trousers.” And a third wrote: “Prince George in not-in-shorts shock.”
One commented that they thought it was the most “natural” and “relaxed photo” they had ever seen of the family.
In Prince Louis first Christmas card, he sits in Kate’s lap smiling to the camera.
Fans on Twitter commented on how big the eight-month-old prince was getting.
The portrait taken by Matt Porteous was set on tree branch outside the families Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk.
One Tweeted: “What a fabulous photo in so many ways. Kudos tot he photographer capturing Louis smiling also.”
Both Princess Charlotte and Prince George have broken up from school for the holidays until January.
The royal children have captured the hearts of the British public this year when making appearances.
One of their most notable moments was on the Buckingham Palace balcony at Trooping the Colour celebrating for the Queen.
The royal siblings clapped and laughed in awe as RAF jets few over Buckingham Palace.
The highly circulated family portraits for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday were much loved by the British public.
The less generic portrait of the family show Louis contently sitting in Kate’s arms and Prince George laughing on Prince Charles’ lap.
The family seem to be caught in a candid moment where all are laughing looking out of the cameras lens.
The portrait was taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson who told HELLO!: “I was delighted to have been asked to take these official portraits of the Prince surrounded by his family to celebrate the important milestone of his 70th birthday.”
Mr Jackson added: “It was particularly special to capture such an informal and relaxed family portrait over a fun afternoon in the gardens of Clarence House!”
