KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a daring dress exposing her legs at Bletchley Park yesterday.
The £1,750 frock is from designer Alessandra Rich. But a huge split in the front blew up in the wind as the sheer fabric appeared see through in the bright sunshine. The Duchess of Cambridge has previously been warned by the Queen for the length of her skirts.
Kate appeared to ditch tights for the event despite them being “the only steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires”, according to Victoria Arbiter.
The royal expert told Business Insider: “You never see a royal without their nude stockings.”
Despite Meghan Markle being pictured not wearing tights on royal engagements, the rules are stricter for Kate.
The Queen allegedly often “sent notes” if she does not like the way the future Queen Consort appears in public.
Celebrity journalist Ashley Pearson told Quest Red: “Kate Middleton has a whole other set of rules and restrictions because she’s going to be Queen.
“She and Meghan are not on the same page.
“Kate Middleton has to wear her skirts at a certain length.
“The Queen is regularly, allegedly, giving notes if she doesn’t like a certain hem or a certain outfit on Kate, or certain colour tights.”
