PRINCE Charles was “furious” after one of his closest friends leaked information about his secret stag do, according to a royal expert.
The future King’s celebrations took place at one of the most exclusive gentlemen’s clubs in the world, the Whites Club in St James, London. While Charles enjoyed a lavish feast washed down with vastly expensive drinks, one of his friends tipped the press on their location. Charles was then pictured leaving the nightclub at midnight and getting into a car.
Speaking on Channel 5’s new documentary Charles and Di: The Truth Behind their Wedding, royal expert Ingrid Seward said: “Whites Club in St James actually gave Prince Charles his stag night dinner.
“Obviously everyone was sworn to secrecy.
“They had a lot of fine wines and some wonderful champagne which was Charles’ favourite.”
However the evening didn’t quite go as Charles had hoped.

She added: “Somebody leaked it and then there were loads of press outside. Obviously Prince Charles was furious.”
The next day, Princess Diana and Charles attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace.
Diana went on to reveal the soon-to-be married couple had a blazing row after he came back from his exclusive party.
Daily Mirror’s feature writer John Edwards told the show: “There was a great humour about, an interest in the people she was talking to.

“She stopped right in front of me, we were only a few foot apart, and somebody said to her ‘good luck darling’.
“‘Thank you very much’, she said, and then she put her hand over her mouth and she said ‘there was a terrible row last night between Charles and me. It had been his stag party’.
“In that girly way of hers she repeated it.
“What the row was about she didn’t go in.”
