KATE, the Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant with her fourth child, reports in the United States have claimed – forcing Kensington Palace officials to respond.
The report say the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her fourth child, just eight months after giving birth to Prince Louis. According to Star magazine, Kate is pregnant with a baby girl – giving her three children Princess Charlotte, Princess George and Prince Louis a little sister. A source was said to have told the magazine: “A baby girl is on the way for the radiant royal couple.” However, the reports have been scotched by royal officials.
While, Kensington Palace officials refused to comment to express.co.uk on the claims they added if Kate were pregnant, an official statement would be released.
Baby fever is running high in the royal household, with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry expecting their first child by Spring next year.
However, the Kate pregnancy reports, which, if true, would see her giving birth her fourth child in 2019 – the same year as sister-in-law Meghan, have sparked a flurry of bets.
Punters have been quick to place bets on Kate’s fourth pregnancy.
Bookies Coral have released odds of Kate will have a baby in 2019 at 3/1 and 10/1 a pregnancy would be announced before the end of 2018.
Kate having a fourth baby further on in the future are at odds of 6/4.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Our odds show that there’s every chance that Kate and Wills might add to their growing family, and a fourth baby is certainly a possibility.
“We’ve taken some bets over the last two weeks or so on it happening and there’s a real buzz around the Royal family at the moment with Meghan expecting.”
During her first three pregnancies, Kate experienced severe morning sickness – which caused her to miss Prince George’s first day of school while pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
Kate has always wanted “at least three” children, a royal source previously told Express co uk.
The source said: ”As one of three, Kate wanted at least three.
“William was more reluctant, not just because he was one of two, but because George was quite a difficult baby.
“Then they had Charlotte and she was a lot easier.
“Now the idea of a newborn doesn’t seem half as challenging.”
