MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first baby in the spring. So will Harry be in the room for the birth?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have an exciting year ahead. First, they’ll move to their newly renovated home in Windsor. Then, Meghan will give birth to their first child, likely to happen just before their first wedding anniversary in May. And Harry is already showing signs of being a doting dad, barely able to contain his excitement when talking about the “little bump.”
Will Harry be in the room when Meghan gives birth?
According to royal tradition, the dad is meant to be banned from the delivery room.
The birth was originally considered a female-only event, and men would wait outside the room for news of the arrival.
But the rules were relaxed somewhat after the birth of Prince Charles, and have continued to move with the times.
Prince William was by his wife Kate, Duchess of Cambridge’s side when she gave birth to all three of their children.
And with Prince Harry such an excited dad-to-be and a doting and protective husband, he’s sure to want to be there when baby Sussex joins the clan.
Where will Meghan give birth?
Meghan’s sister-in-law Kate had all three of her children in the private Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.
