REVEALED: How older royals are putting Wills, Kate and Harry to SHAME
That’s according to figures taken from the Court Circular – the official record that lists engagements carried out by the Monarch.
The Duchess of Cambridge came eighth in a list of royal grafters, five places behind hubby Prince William.
Princess Anne, 67, outshone the couple, with 165 official appearances.
The Princess Royal, who often undertakes more than 200 engagements a year, has carried out more appearances than Prince William and Kate combined.
The 67-year-old has topped the list for the third year running, thrashing Wills, Kate and Harry – despite them flying out for a number of overseas trips this year.
The trio, who all live at Kensington Palace, were outperformed by their older relative, who has carried out the bulk of the duties.
The Queen’s daughter has worked 165 days this year followed by Prince Charles with 129 and the Duke of York, dubbed Air Miles Andy, who notched up 106 appearances.
Not to be outdone, 91-year-old Queen Elizabeth has attended 67 events.
The Duchess of Cornwall did her fair share, attending 73 engagements.
The Queen’s hubby Philip, 96, carried out 56 appearances – and that’s despite writing in August.
The Earl of Wessex has completed 88.
Prince William, who finished his job as an air ambulance pilot this summer, has pledged to make issues facing the emergency services a focus of his work for many years to come.
The dad-of-two has carried out 80 engagements including a major tour to Poland and Germany.
The Duchess of Cambridge completed the least engagements with 46 days.
Since announcing her third pregnancy in September, Kate has made only a handful of public appearances.
George and Charlotte’s mum, 35, has been suffering from severe morning sickness.
Prince Harry, 33, attended 72 engagements, according to figures taken from the Court Circular.
The fifth-in-line to the throne last week visited Nottingham with his fiancée Meghan Markle – who has announced she will become the fourth patron of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
Her Maj and the Duke have both gradually started to wind down the number of official duties and engagements, handing over her responsibilities to other members of the Royal family.
But despite stepping down as patron from 25 national organisations, the Queen is still due to attend hundreds of engagements every year.
Last year Prince William and Harry faced criticism after their elderly granddad undertook 219 official engagements in the UK – which was more than Princes’ engagement put together.
