PRINCESS DIANA is the late mother of Prince William and Harry and the former wife of Prince Charles. She lived a lavish life growing up amongst the aristocracy on the Queen’s estate.

Princess Diana was born as Sandringham, on the Royal Family’s estate.
She is the youngest daughter of John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer, and Frances Shand Kydd.
She was born at Park House on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

The home has been turned into a hotel, leading to rare photographs from inside the property to be shared.
The hotel is undergoing a renovation and has been closed since 2019.
A sum of £2million is being spent on the renovations.
These images capture the last time the building will resemble the way it looked when the late Princess Diana lived there.
The hotel’s website states: “In 1983 Her Majesty The Queen offered it to Leonard Cheshire Disability as a hotel for disabled people.
“Specifically designed and equipped to meet their needs, Park House Hotel now enables disabled guests and their companion”s to enjoy a relaxing and revitalising holiday together.
The Spencer Family also own the Althorp Estate, their ancestral home.
It is an enormous Grade I listed stately home.
Diana lived at Althorp after the divorce of her parents with her father.
This is the house where Diana famously pushed her stepmother down the stairs.

According to Andrew Morton’s ‘Diana – Her True Story: In her own words’, the Princess of Wales would describe her childhood at her father’s home with her stepmother as “very unhappy”, and “very unstable, the whole thing”.
This reportedly took place in 1989 when Raine was hosting Diana’s brother’s wedding at Althorp.
She felt her stepmother was not paying enough attention to her mother Frances, which infuriated her and resulted in her flying into a rage.
During the Smithsonian Channel’s 2017 documentary, ‘Princess Diana’s Wicked Stepmother’ Raine’s personal assistant Sue Howe added: “[Raine] was badly bruised and dreadfully upset.”
